Hello everyone,

Having started a new job, I am finally able to finance these important things. I am planning to begin hair reduction immediately and plan breast augmentation for the first half of 2008. If anybody can offer me some advice on the following issues:

  • Is anyone familiar with any laser clinics in Sheffield that have treated trans customers before?

  • If not, can anybody recommend anywhere within an hour's travel? This is roughly Derby to the South and Leeds to the North

  • Does anybody have any recomendations for breast augmention surgeons? I could consider a trip to London for this, so fire away, wherever you live.

  • I would consider myself to be a typical transwoman when it comes to breast growth. I'm at about a B, but my chest is broad and I seem to have the "tubular" shape that people talk about. Would seeing a specific surgeon produce a more favourable result, and can you tell me anything more about any issues or considerations I would need to make?

  • I am aware that many people wait until after SRS to think about breast augmentation. I'm keeping my mind open on this matter, and considering SRS first by private means. For reference, I'm 5 years hormones, 1 year RLE (not actually recognised with any GICs) no letters, originally saw Russel and still waiting on NHS waiting list.

  • If you cannot give me any advice yourself, if you know of any resources that can help me, can you kindly point me in their direction?

  • This is cross-posted from the TGUK community - any advice you can give me is much appreciated. I understand this is an international community - I hail from the UK- if there's any non location specific advice you can give me relating to breast augs, this would still be very useful :-)

Thank you :-)
