Going back to school next week and am wondering what to do about my name-and-pronoun change in terms of professors who knew me last year with old name/pronoun.

I will have two professors who had me spring term under feminine name and pronoun.  I will have one new professor who doesn't know me at all, and one professor who knew me spring term as feminine and summer term as masculine- he handled the name fine, but slipped the pronoun a few times, until the TA asked me one day what I wanted, then modeled it in front of the prof.  After that he didn't miss again.

Before summer term I sent out a mass email to my profs, even the ones who didn't know me at all.  It seemed a little odd to me to announce such a thing, but maybe that is the way to do it.  

Any other ideas/experience for telling professors who already know me, "by the way, ....."
