so im an aunt......or an uncle.... or...what am i

my brother had a baby girl and noone has any idea what i am. i dont either. we're worried to say aunt now since i'm so lost in the middle of things and we dont want to confuse her growing up. really rather not use uncle because well i hate that. and yea aunt is just weird with my family. whenever they say sister or use female pronouns i freak. i dunno why. i just do.

so what's a gender neutral name that my niece will be able to call me growing up? i mean hopefully i'll be leaning more towards one side of the gender spectrum by the time she can speak but still.
