Butchdykeboy.com is proud to release its premier editon of its quarterly fiction magazine. This magazine will give a spotlight to up and coming writers as well as previously published writers in the queer, transgender, gender queer, bi communities.
The summer edition features the work of Jackson Henry Cash, who in the recent past has had performance art pieces at Gender Crash, Cheryl Lieteau, a writer, artist, performer, and recently was published in Boston Girl Guide, and Dan Taylor, a current columnist for butchdykeboy.com and has been published in Blessed Bee.
Currently accepting submissions for the Fall edtion.
Flood seeks quality queer, and particularly trans, fiction. Submissions of less than 5,000 words are accepted throughout the year. Flood publishes up to three fiction pieces per issue. Submissions should be sent via email as an attached MS Word file to emmet@butchdykeboy.com. The body of the email should include a cover letter, contact information, and a bio.
Please note, since we prefer to focus on the broad range of experiences trans and queer people have, we publish few "coming out" stories. Since this site is open to users of all ages, we regret we are unable to publish pieces with explicit language and graphic sex.
