Trying To Get Noticed

Does anyone know of any place(s) a transgendered artist can get her name in front of the public?  I'm trying to make a name for myself as something of a photographer, but promotion has never been one of my strong points.  My work is at my online studio, if anyone cares to have a look.  The main problem I have is that I can't really afford to spend a ton of money on advertising.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
