Hi,

 

I've come to this community several times for advice or to vent; today I'm here to make some new friends. My name is Kate. I’m 19; a college sophomore bio major.

 

I’m quirky, eclectic, inclined to over analysis, fancy myself an intellectual, prone to social awkwardness, loyal, resilient, and in the process of a lot of self discovery. I’m a bit of a geek, but I suppose I look rather inconspicuous. I ID as queer (pansexual) and genderqueer. People of any ID welcome to apply for friend status.

 

Recent obsessions include Questionable Content, The Dresden Dolls, Exes & Ohs and gouda cheese on wheat thins with pineapple juice. I’m also in the midst of rediscovering my fangirl/boydom of The X Files (got season one for Christmas).

 

I often consider myself an old soul, but occasionally my inner Peter Pan wreaks havoc while trying not to grow up. Yes, I can be a bit complex (but I think that makes people interesting). I can be odd in my sense of humor & enjoy multiple forms of comedy. I wish I had more time more leisure reading. I’m also a big fan of B movies and classic rock, or any music that has an interesting history and story behind it, or hell, most music. I am much more articulate when I write then when I speak.
