Jan. 28th, 2008 06:59 pmI'm thinking of changing my legal first and middle names to just initials, which are the same for my given name and chosen name (on purpose). Has anyone else done this? Like it, regretted it, any other thoughts on this? Would there be any legal ramifications (in the states)?
Thanks in advance for any ideas or tips.
Edited to clarify- I wouldn't be using a letter as a name, just as an identifier for legal purposes. it would go like this: "Hi, nice to meet you, my name is Ryan." And when I show state ID, use my bank card, have a passport, etc etc, it would just say "R [lastname]".
