transDoes anyone know if you can apply for a job in the UK under your preferred name if you haven't got a deed poll/statutory declaration?
I'm about to start transitioning and I am still looking for a job, but I don't want to put my old name on any forms.
The strange thing is, if you had asked me two weeks ago if I would be going full time now I would have said no. I wanted to, but I just couldn't see it happening.
