Hi. I’m Adam, FTM(pre-everything),18(almost 19).

I am in dire need of help. My parents have been keeping me in this house ever since November 2008... when I came out as trans to them. They have stopped my therapist appointments and my GED classes, they’ve gotten rid of my cellphone, and they have taken away all of my money in my bank account.

They’ve also resorted to making fun of me, won’t let me go anywhere, threatening me.. and I’ve been beaten up TWICE. The second time I called the police, and the cops came. They didn’t do SHIT. My Dad is friends with alot of cops in our area, and he brought up my mental health issues(MPD and Bipolar)with the cop.

Since the local authorities will not do anything about it, I am just going to leave. I need a place to go. I can only leave after April 10, and I can stay as long as Septemeber(around October I will be going to Cleveland, Ohio). I do not steal or lie, I will complete my GED and get a job, and I will do anything to help out.

I’m just looking to stay with somebody and/or find affordable trans-friendly transitional living housing until September/October. If you--or if you know someone who will--are willing to help me out, please let me know ASAP! My email address is adam_androgynous@hotmail.com.
