transi appologise for posting here again but i just got word of this and feel you guys should know.
Ebru Soykan (28), a Turkish trans woman has been murdered on March 10th 2009 in her apartment in Istanbul. The murder on Ebru Soykan could have been prevented. TGEU demands Turkish State officials work to stop the violence against its transgender citizens and to foster legislative changes complying with the EU accession criteria.
