Did anyone in the UK last night listen to the radio 2 Stonewall Riots documentary?

I have to admit that I struggled to have the radio on during the adverts due to the way that the Riots were described as something, well the title of the documentary sums it up:

Stonewall: The Riots That Triggered the Gay Revolution

Link to the BBC page about this, and a chance to listen again for those in the UK.

Although the documentary focuses on gay people I wanted to high-light it here because Stonewall was not an exclusively gay riot; it's part of general GLBT history, including the T part of the community. And I think a similar comparison between what it is to be trans then and now would be hugely interesting (but then I do find myself wondering about trans people in the past and their struggles, without access to surgery, hormones, voice coaching, binders).

So did anyone listen to it?

As I'm currently struggling with a nasty virus and trying to keep my partner hydrated enough to keep him out of hospital it will be a few days before I get round to listening.
