Hormones and Travel
Sep. 26th, 2009 02:07 pmSo I was watching this video on YouTube of someone I subscribe to who got her surgery done by Dr. Supporn in Thailand last month and she had said that her endo advised her to stop taking estrogen a month before her flight out, and spiro a week before her flight out, to prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis (I think thats what it's called haha). Now. I just want to clarify, is this advised for EVERY time you take a plane, or just in the matters of pre-surgery? Because I would like to work in travel, and to work in travel you kind of need to go on airplanes a lot, and this is something I didn't really consider. And even if I didn't work in travel, I still want to travel a lot in my life, but I don't want to be barren of hormones for the rest of my being.
