Homeless shelter protocols

Hi, my name is Aden, and I am currently researching protocols for working with transgendered persons in homeless shelters. I have been searching through databases and such, and have been striking out as far as finding actual protocols. I know that Boston has a protocol and have been referring to it often. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction if your city has a protocol,  and a place to find it online.

I also was looking for information (articles) about transgendered folks living in shelters. I have read invisible men in shelters and transforming our shelters.
