This is my first post here besides an introduction a few months back... I apologize if this has come up before - I didn't really see it when searching through the tags, but I'm terribly unobservant.
My question is how do people feel about age? I'm incredibly fatalistic and I have this notion that finishing transition after like 25 is almost pointless, because I've lost most of my prime years. I'm 22 now, and I started hormones two years ago, but have since had to stop because I ran out of money and haven't been able to pursue any other aspect of transition (Education is a cruel mistress).
Has anyone else had these worries? Is there any advice or encouragement to give? It seems like a pretty shallow concern now that I type it out, but I still wanted to field it.
Thank you!
