riding a bike

Hey all you folks who wear binders and ride bicycles, how do you deal with putting all that together?  I've never ridden my bike with my binder before for fear of not being able to breath well enough.  How do you negotiate riding unbound and then binding once you get somewhere?  Have you ever had an issue with that?
