transHey, all.
I'm a transmasculine college kid on Long Island. I've been having some trouble wrapping my head around this whole gender thing and I was wondering if anyone on Long Island or in the New York area had any experience/advice in seeking out a therapist.
My school does offer counseling, but I had a bad experience with them last year and I'd rather avoid that route if I can. They don't have much experience in the way of dealing with gender and sexuality issues and it got really uncomfortable last time around.
