transA friend of mine is doing an "Ask the Expert" thread on trans* issues for a general interests message board here. He did one of these before and the response was very positive. This time, he's going to be having others contributing to the thread with their own experiences. The goal is for it to put more information out there and educate, as well as to offer support to one another.
However, the problem with this is that all of the people contributing are FtM and also very early in transition. A woman's perspective would be really helpful, as would a more experienced voice.
If anyone is interested in joining the discussion, the site is free to join. Also, you can post to the thread without registering there, though comments will be moderated.
