transhi everyone! i'm one of the people who created safe2pee a couple years back. i haven't been here for a very long time but wanted to mention a new project that some of the safe2pee folks are working on called trans411. having faced the problem of inadequate medical care and unsympathic therapists we wanted to apply the community-driven approach that we used with bathrooms to sharing info on good providers.
we still have some bugs to work out (especially with MSIE), but we already have a bunch of really exciting features like ability to review providers and search for those near you. while we bugfix and add more, the site is limited to doctors, surgeons and therapists, but we hope to expand that. we took feedback from the way we built safe2pee and this site can accept entries from around the world from the get go and our code is a lot cleaner! please check it out, add to it and let me know what you think!
we're also kicking down some of this new code to safe2pee (which was a mess when it was first coded it :-) ) --- it has better MSIE compatibility, you can edit or remove defunct entries and even surf it on your mobile phone!
note: the site just got hit by the web crawlers, if you can't reach it's because there may be a minute or two of downtime while we try to upgrade our server :)
