Hi everyone.

My girlfriend has been referred to the Sexual Behaviors Consultation Unit at John's Hopkins hospital in Baltimore after being in acute inpatient psychiatric care (also at John's Hopkins). Her doctors indicated that it is an excellent program that will help us out with trans care (my girlfriend being MtF).

Is anyone here familiar with the program?

UPDATE:
I just wanted to let everyone know who replied or was wondering, we went to SBCU with some trepidation, and met with Dr.  Chris Kraft, among a few others (the only one whose name I can remember is Dr. Berlin, who was an older gentleman, but there were two younger women, also). My girlfriend broached the subject of John's Hopkins reputation, and the doctors were pretty honest about the less than stellar past.

They all seemed to be very supportive of her, of our relationship (which was a concern, as I am also female), and of the fact that she is ambivalent about SRS but very committed to all other aspects of the transition (which was also a concern).

So, obviously this is just a preliminary assessment, and we haven't gotten to working with these people in earnest yet... But I am going to remain hopeful.
