Brief introduction
Mar. 7th, 2011 09:37 am Hello everybody,
I've not yet introduced myself!! Bummer! I was so eager to place my first message about finding more people to join my tg guild in wow that I totally forgot.
Anyways.. Here I am!
My name is Makena, which means "The Happy One" in African language. I did not only want a name that looks nice and feels good but also wanted it to have a meaning that suits my character.
I might, one day, write more about how I got to the point where I am at now but for now a brief description will do.
At this point I'm at the beginning of my transition from male to female. I've done proper research and found that the road to completion is far from straight forward.. and I looooooooooove straight forward.. so this is going to be a difficult part. Also I love things to be simple and logical. Unfortunately my logical and simple brain is not in one line with the mind of the ones i'm encountering. So another hard part of my transition is added.
The best part though, and I love you all dearly for that, is that my friends and family are supportive.
My transitions aside....
I'm an artist foremost. I sing, write songs, make music with computersoftware, I do a little graphic designing, love the art of painting, sculpting and jewelcrafting and at times, when in the mood, I even do that art. I also love reading and one day I will write a book too.. maybe more if I like... I'm far from consistent and this part of me makes it hard for people to rely on me...I'm aware of that and I often feel bad about it. Yet not bad enough to change it... I love inconsistency as it often leads to surprising people and myself.. Most people have expectations.. in my opinion..expectations are a killer for (artistic) freedom... I'm one big bowl of contradictions too as I live by the moment... this is very confusing to some people but not to me... Each day new information enters my brain and I would not be honest to myself if I did not use that information to alter my views on things.. The world was once flat before we found out it was roundish *wink
So far my brief introduction... Feel free to respond...
Smooch!
