How do I post on this thing?

A lot of people are asking me how to join a community and how to post to one. Hopefully, this will straighten things out.

If you do not already have a livejournal account, go to livejournal.com and make one. Then come back to the Transgender Community page at www.livejournal.com/~transgender. Click on "Transgender Community" to get to the User Info page. At the top of that page, click on "join community." Follow the instructions to join the community. If you want to see this community's posts on your friends page, add it to your friends page like you would add any other user. To post in this community, go to "update journal" when you are logged in. Click on "more options" at the bottom of the page. One of the choices you will have is "Journal to post in." Scroll down and select "transgender." Your post will show up here.
