one of my closest friends came out as trans a few months ago, and though i haven't talked with her much about it, i am very supportive of her and proud of her strength, it seems that all of our other friends only, or at least mostly, talk to her about being trans, i don't want her to think i'm uninterested, but to me, she seems like she just wants to be treated like a run of the mill, straight woman, not our trans friend, and i guess what i'm wondering is when any of you were coming out, did you want your friends to ask you a lot of questions or just generally be supportive? i know it probably depends on the person, and i really think i already know the answer as far as she is concerned, but...yeah, anyhow
