Should I tell my parents I'm dating a tranny boy

hi, i've been lurking on this list-not sure where i fit in. I'm not trans, I just date trans people and seem to always attract genderqueer and assorted others. now i've got a bit of a problem -maybe. I'm queer and poly basically I don't base who i date on thier gender or orentation just if they like me and i like them. its worked ok. currently i'm dating a tranny boy(ftm). not big time serious but serious that my mom has heard me mention him. I've told her I'm bisexual-she can understand that but trans is a whole other thing. she know i'm dating a boy named Tom and that it. Now she is visiting in the summer. should i tell her over the phone that tom is trans. should i wait until she get here. who knows if i'll still be with him-i probably will. she really tries hard to be accepting but she is a basically a sheltered catholic women who got married at 20 and still is married to the same narrow minded conservative guy. and i don't want to freak her out more than i already have. also my dad has absolutely no clue about me being queer in any shape way or form.

I just figured I would place a quick post to say "Hi" since I am new to the community. I am MtF...been out for a couple of years and am deeply into the process of my transition. I look forward to interacting with all of you. *hugs*
