Subj: [zinesters] queers in the punk scene - wanna be published?

From: xeroxrevdistro@yahoo.com

I'm putting together the beginnings of a large zine that takes in contributions from people all over the queer/punk scene. KWEER CORPS INTERNATIONAL will hopefully fall somewhere between "Holy Titclamps" and MRR, a place to find queer punk music reviews, scene
reports, stories, articles, interviews, rants, zine reviews, classified and personal ads, and so on. An 8 1/2 X 11 "Slug & Lettuce" without quite the anarchist slant. (Each writer, I assume, will bring their own view on politics and their scene.)

I intend to keep both "queer" and "punk" as inclusive as possible: genderqueer, transsexual, transgender, fag, dyke, bi, omni, or assorted queers should feel free to contribute. Spikey-headed street punks, anarchists, crusties, skaters, skinheads, rockabillies, riot grrrls, and just dirty fuckers who like to ROCK - I'm beggin you to just put your two cents in.

I mean, c'mon, what do punks do best? Express a fucking opinion. So here's your chance. I'm looking for:
*reviews of anything of interest to the queer punk world - zines, music, shows, indie movies, whathaveyou
*interviews with interesting queers in the punk scene
*short fiction
*black and white art and photos that will come out well in xerox copies - show photos, band or scene photos, line drawings, tattoo flash
*scene reports - is there an especially queer-friendly infoshop in your area? someone putting on a lot of shows? some sort of collective?
*classified & personal ads (50 words or less - let everyone know about the festival you're putting together, the zine you need contributions for, find contacts for cross-country trips, sell your band's 7" - make sure you include contact info!)
*rants/articles on subjects of interest to queers in any part of the punk scene - what's pissing you off? what's your political issue at the moment? egg whites or elmers glue?
*anything else you think would fit into a print zine for the queer punk scene.

If you're interested, please contact me:
