Hello, everyone. I'm new here.. I'm finally glad to find a haven from all the intolerance and hate... I hope to meet all of you soon. ^^; I won't waste time with "about me" blather, because that's too egotistical on the first post. Hi, I have a few questions, and I'm sure some of you can answer them for me! =)

1. What exactly does transgender mean? Is there a universal definition subscribed to, or slight variations?

2. What are the options for transgendered people?

3. What are the main challenges? (ex: discrimination)

I'm curious, you see, because I haven't really been exposed to information about this subject. I am openminded about it, however, and interested to know about it, mayhap even help with activism, if the opportunity arises.
