Hey, y'all.
I decided to hope on the community-creation bandwagon!

[livejournal.com profile] our_own_path is:
For trans+ guys who are struggling with, have decided against, or have started and stopped medical transition. Somewhere to talk about how we move through the world in the bodies we have, as well as workouts, passing tips, and other stuff that helps us move toward a comfortable image of self without transition. A place to find our own milestones, and to be supported in our gender paths.

There's a survey thingy in the first post, and if you want to join, please be so kind as to fill it out and post it.
Hope to see y'all......

I don't know how many trans people actually live in or near RI... but I figured I would ask anyways.

The chair person of the University of Rhode Island GLBTQ organization contacted me about the symposium they have every year. I offered to speak and/or do a workshop. But, it would definitely be better if there was more than just one trans person doing the workshop. So, I am looking for anyone who is willing to talk about and answer questions regarding trans issues. The topic of the symposium is how the media and the US society views GLBTQ people. It is in the beginning of April, but they always try to get everything going as soon as possible. Please let me know if you, or anyone you know, is interested. If you want, email me and I can give you more information.

Thank you,
Kevin :-)
