so, being the only trans cartoonist that i know of in nyc, i'm gonna be doing this set of comics postcards/posters for the Gender Identity Project, a local trans therapy/support/trying to be more social organization.

they wanna do some fancy superhero theme (ok, ok, i can work with that, really). basically, i'm going to be doing 4 portraits of trans people who work together as some superhero team, a la the justice league of america.

i'm thinking of doing some sort of split-screen "mild-mannered profession by day / trans activist of some variety at all times"

what i want is some input on is figuring out what set of 4 portrayals would be a reasonable portrayal of (insert drumroll) 'the trans community.' i'm figuring 2 mtf-spectrum folks and 2 ftm-spectrum folks. in each set, one person is more traditionally transsexual and one is more toward the genderqueerish realm. i feel pretty confident about being able to do the ftm-spectrum folks well, less confident about knowing specifically what to represent with the mtf-spectrum folks.

everyone's going to be urban (since we're in nyc), i'm going to portray a mix of races.

so... what gender presentations/jobs/forms of activism do you think i should definitely include? what should i by no means include? what specific combinations woud it be a good idea to include or avoid?

you can assume that i've passed "How Not to Be a Total Idiot 101," but I may have slept through a couple of classes in "Advanced Topics in Not Being a Total Idiot."

I am finaly back, but I have a little more constraint on my internet access , as I cant access it in the weekends because I had 2 student accounts, one for the normal LAN and another for The Computer Science LAN, but the normal one has expiered but i still have access to Computer science LAN one which is better than nothing.. But at least I am free again, but one thing my money is soon finnished as the prices of things have increast almost 50% since last year but luckyt i still get food at the new place I stay..
But I have done alot of new images..in cluding a Dana International Theme..
