Physical Description: He is a medium to small sized bird with bright color. His head is bright yellow, chest is deep red, and wings are green and royal blue. Wings are clipped.
Personality: Skyler has a great personality, he's funny, friendly, and lovable. He might have a tendency to be possessive, which is in the nature of birds, and might not like small children. He is fine with dogs, but not recommended for cats. He is well trained and has social skills. He loves to bathe in the sink, must be covered at night, and is quite sensitive to the ring of phones.
History: Skyler was originally rescued from an abusive home and has been taken care of for the past year, but is well adjusted. Because of this, he might have a tendency to be shy or nervous around new people and could potentially bite. However, this can be consistent with typical bird behavior also.
Diet: Skyler eats a base mixture of bird seed, nuts, dried fruit and such. He also must have fresh water every day and fresh fruit and vegetables. His favorites are Green Grapes and Saltines.
Other points to consider: Birds need a lot of attention and should be in a household where he can receive the attention and love he needs. A bird is not a good pet for a busy household or for people with overly-active lifestyles that would leave the bird alone for extended periods of time. Skyler wouldn't be good for a home with YOUNG children. Educating yourself on birds would be your best bet and plan on having this bird for over ten years. You should only purchase a bird if you're serious about them - giving birds away or selling them makes them distrust people rendering them bad pets. Conures tend to be noisy and messy.

Package: Skyler comes with a painted white iron cage that he is quite used to and comfortable in. I recommend that he comes with the cage. Skyler typically would sell between $200-$500. The cage sells for $350. I will also include all of his toys, which are expensive, 2 books, food and litter, vitamins, marvel-aid, mite spray, nail clippers and styptic powder, and a tupperware seed container.
