I had The Talk with best-friend-from-high-school-who-I-used-to-date-and-am-still-close-to (sorry, that's such an unweildy acronym!) It went well, especially when the old chestnut "don't fret, I'm not turning anything inside out" said with a grin completely erased her look of confoozlement. How strange it is to me that the focus point of most of my friend's anxiety is whether or not I'd have SRS; once assured that I'm not interested in travelling down that road at this time, they're instantly relaxed, even happy, at this little project of mine.
