lovesodivine.livejournal.comI got the certified copied of my deed of name change in the post today. I've popped 4 copies in with letters ready to post in the morning, and I need another 6 photocopies to send in a bunch more letters too. Then I have to wait for my driving license application form to be signed by someone (in progress) so I can get that changed,... and then my passport too.

... oooh, I phoned my doctors surgery to make an appointment, but they'd never heard of me... turns out they already knew about my new name even though I hadn't informed them. FREAKY! I'm guessing they were either informed from my last trip to A&E where I used my new name (actually, I've only ever used that name in A&E even since before I legally changed it ;-)) ... or they were told by social security who I already informed by telephone.
