I talked to Sean the other day, and i should be seeing him soon. And not with my exgirlfriend. (if you remember last post i posted) He understands if i dont bring her or if i do. He said its my trip so its up to me and he wont feel upset or anything. Yes. I actually talked to him about what was bothering me about "our"
ex. And i must say, It was nice to talk to him about that. I am hoping to go see him soon.

CALLING ALL YOUTH!!!

Here at Portland Outright we’re expanding our
Online HIV Peer Education Program
We’re going statewide—and we need your help to make it happen!

Peer Educators are youth 22 and under who are passionate about helping other young people. We come from a diverse range of backgrounds, identities and experiences. We know what it’s like to have questions about health, sex, relationships, sexuality and life in general. We also know how important it is to be able to get honest answers and accurate information about these issues. That's where we come in as Peer Educators.
We answer questions and provide resources and support anonymously to other youth visiting the Outright website.

“As a peer educator I am able to provide support to other people… strengthening my peers and my community. It’s also personally rewarding because I have learned a lot about how to keep myself safe and healthy.” –L, Peer Educator since 2003

We’re looking for new folks from across the state to be trained as Peer Educators.
If you are a dependable, energetic, passionate, motivated, friendly, respectful
young person (22 or under) with email access…

YOU ARE A PERFECT CANDIDATE!

New Peer Educators will go through an online training and then come to our space in Portland for an overnight training with the rest of the Peer Educators.

Do you think you have what it takes?

You can find out more about the program by checking out the bios of our current Peer Educators on our website. ( http://outright.gwi.net ) Click on the “Ask a Peer” link on the left side of the screen. Then, if you’re interested, give us a call toll free from anywhere in the state at 1-888-567-7600 or email hiv@outright.org for more information!
