Hey all-

The Trans Resource Center is now open, come check it out!
Services Provided:

free internet access: the space is provided so that individuals can browse sensitive material in a more private setting than other computers in the building.

Intramuscular Syringe Exchange: Free IM needle exchange for folks who are using injection hormones. (can't do large exchanges yet. I'll post when that changes)

HIV Testing: On-site trans-friendly HIV testing.

The Identity Project: a collaboration between members of the trans community and Outside In to provide services and referrals to trans people. This manifests primarily through Legal Name Change and Sex Designation Change on State ID/DL. Outside In's Trans Resource Center houses the Identity Project to provide a locus of contact for clients (and care providers) to access assistance, support, and advocacy around gender transition. Also referrals are available.

Soon there will also be a shuttle that goes up to Stroheckers Pharmacy once a month. Look for that announcement!

located: 1030 SW 13th Ave. in Outside In's ARTS building
hours: Tues-Thurs.11am-6pm
