stupid laser question
Sep. 29th, 2004 07:45 amSo I've got my first laser hair removal appointment (on my face) next Thursday, the 7th.
And it occurred to me that the hair has to go somewhere after it's killed; the treatment doesn't simply vaporize the hair.
So where does it go? In particular, is it possible that the hair pushes its way out from the follicle and therefore looks longer (because more of it is above the skin) before it finally falls out? If that happens, I want to know, because I don't want to think that the laser treatment made me grow more hair.
Another question: I usually wear makeup. Obviously, I can't wear it while I'm being treated. But is there any problem with putting on makeup as usual the morning of treatment, and then washing it off immediately before?
