I'd like to post this poem.  I wrote it for my best friend Jamie, who recently transitioned from f to m.  i'd like some comments on it.  It's in first person, only because i wrote it for him to read to others in a spoken word format, and its really based on his life.  i combined all his memories and thoughts and fears and joys into a poem.  thanks. :)

Some Transwomen I know don't like mebecause I pass to well. At least that is what they told me. Is this common?

I sometimes say stupid things and don't always think before posting or before opening my mouth. It gets me into trouble at times. I should ahve stated my own insecurities before stating my problem. I didn't elaborate enough about it so it looked liek I was bragging. Bragging is very very bad especialy in certain palces and I didnn't want to come off as bragging but I see now that anywhere but my own journal that was innapropriate. I cross posted this to my journal.

Though I was told by one woman that if I pass too well I don't truely understand the pain and sufferign that transpeople go through. I don't really feel I pass well anyway. Whenever someone says miss or ma'am I'm a bit surprised.
IT is okay for me to do somethign jerkish once in a while but not mroe than that. I"ll consider this my one really bad thign to do for the month and attempt to do better. Waht I should have said was "Do transwomen ever dislike other transwomen if they 'pass too well'? And how do you define 'passign too well'? And why would this happen? And does it happen wit FtM's ever?" that would ahve been better I think.
