An Introduction
Feb. 24th, 2005 09:02 pmHello. First off, I must say that I enjoy this community...I've been watching it from a distance for a few days now, due to my girlfriend 'punktour2000'. I thought I would join since I am doing all in my power to stick by her and help her out with her search for the self. I also enjoy what I've seen of the transgender community. :) You all seem like interesting people to have on one's friends list.
Anyways, a little about myself since I tend to think that appropriate for first posts. My name is Shannon, and I'm a lesbian. I am madly in love with my dear Tom, and terribly protective...;-). I went through a butch phase for quite awhile (I still fall back into it when my darling and I are out in public...we've come to refere to it as "Mama Bear Mode"). I think that phase ended as I moved into more of a feminine view of myself, but as I said I still go back on it. I believe its better to be flexible with that sort of thing than to remain stagnant. I mean, how boring is that? Let's see...I am pagan after a fashion, and a strong believer in being open minded and using the brain that we possess (a great deal of people don't use this wonderful organ to expand themselves! Sure, they can be geniuses, but what is knowledge without knowledge of the self?)...as its surely easy to tell, I ramble. Often, and to quite an extent.
I look forward to reading the posts from this community! Now, to prevent further rambling...adieu.
