Okay, this incredibly abusive and frankly slanted survey has appeared on the web; now, assuming we can't get Bravenet to to pull the survey on the grounds of being objectionable and designed to cause hatred, the best solution I could see is that we all vote on it and force it back to the way it should be.

So if you're willing to go through several pages of slated hatred to disabuse people of their notions (and various popup ads), please see this woman's survey.

(For best results, say you're male, heterosexual/monogamous, not Trans, married, and have children.)

I found out about this piece of garbage, btw, from transacademics listserv.

Obviously repost this anywhere you think it could be useful to rock the vote and this silly woman's tiny mind.

*cross posted to my LJ also*

OK, so a few minutes ago, I get out of the elevator at work and am walking down the hall back to my room.

I start walking in front of the door that leads to the freight elevator lobby and there is one of the maintenance guys coming towards my hallway.

"Sven," he calls out. "Do something about your hair, dude."

"I'm letting it grow out," I replied.

"Well find a different way to put it up ... or comb it...or do something, because when you passed by just now you looked like a chick!"

While my heart lept 20 feet, I just flashed a smile and non-chalantly reply "oh yeah? No kidding...." and I start laughing a bit

"Nope. Wear a hat or something, man." He said, laughing also.

My hair was tied back into a bit of a ponytail (as much hair as I can bunch up).

Wonder if the fact that I'm wearing a woman's teeshirt and had a ladies' sweatjacket over me helped the look..... XD

Schweet!
