Is there any network for people doing education and advocacy on trans/gender topics in a college or university setting?

I'm looking for a listserv, a message board, anything. Please help.

I am sick of reinventing the wheel every time I want to do something. I want a space to share resources and strategies.

Can anyone recommend some websites that are good to show to parents?

I am having trouble finding the "List of Non-Trans Privilege". I was hoping of someone had a copy of it, they could post it here or send a link. The website at which I used to find it (http://ftmichael.tashari.org/transgender.html) is down.

Thanks.

Edit:

Nevermind. I found it relocated here: http://nbtsc.org/~ftmichael/privilege.html

Sorry to have bothered you all!

i know this was just asked, and i'm sorry for the sortah repost thingy..
i just had a conversation with my dad, about going to a meeting new us and so forth, He said that the meeting and parents were very Pro, meaning that there didn't seem to be anything bad, said (eccept for one issue that included getting gneder changed in information, meaning that insurence wouldn't cover if i had something wrong with my "Female" PaRTS.) I was wondering if any of you knew of a good place to find other parents for mine to talk to, or any websites (even if livejournal has a group for parents.) My dad just wants to make sure he covers the good with the bad about transitioning....i am just trying to find support for him, becasue he won't be satisfied until more negatives fill his mind.
if any of you have anything to say ..stories to tell..feel free....

thank you..Paul

Hi all, just joined this community and I wanted to ask for some advice/help. Im just tonight taking over as mod for a Myspace group: http://groups.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=groups.groupProfile&groupID=100012470&Mytoken=8A4DA29A-50AB-4199-890465FD21AC519D814661687

I wanted to turn this "your hot" and "looking T-girls" type group (prevalent on myspace) into a general support group that isn't focused on bullshit. I'm looking for the highest recommended general resource groups... I was thinking Transhealth.com. Any other ideas?
