Transgender Day of Remembrance

Hey there,

The GSA at my school is forming committees and I am the chair of the Transgender Day of Remembrance committee because it was my idea, but I'm not too sure how I should go about it. I have a few weeks and little support from the club -- trans issues may be a part of our club constition but we have never discussed anything no matter how many times I bring it up.

I know posters can help with people knowing what day it is, but I want to offer information, too.

I'm posting here because I want to know if there's anything I should do/cover that the transgender population would like to see. If there's anything you can help me with - ideas/suggestions - that would be awesome!

Hello, this is my first time posting here, and well, I could use a little info.

I need some referrals to either someone who does electro or laser hair removal in Chicago. I live on the north-side in the city. I just don't want to wind up going to some hack that will scar up my face, neck, or anywhere else.

I figured I'd go laser first and see what it did for me. A lot of my beard is lighter but I do have quite a bit of dark hair as well. Finance is also a bit of an issue as well but I'm also NOT looking for a bargain basement deal either.

I saw some info up here a while ago but couldn't find it now.
