As most of you may know, November 20th is Transgender Day of Rememberence. The Gay/Straight allience type club in my school, decided to do something for it. So with my aproval, a couple of up are getting together and i have agreed to speak with a group (we are enviting Staff members and students...some with personal invitations, we are also putting an invitation up on the school announcements) Even though i have a couple of weeks, i don't really know what to say. My friend brought up how it may be too early for the school, like people will only turn this down, and i am making an issue for myself. I'm pretty confident in this, the only problem is that i'm not quite sure what to say... i really just need some suggestions on how to get started

thanx, Paul

Hi all,

At my new job, I'm required to wear buisness casual clothes. I'm trying to dress androgynously right now, but I'm at a loss as to shoes. I'd like a buisness casual women's shoe that is androgynous enough to be worn while I'm still working as a man, but feminine enough to last me a while into going part/full time. Can any androgynes or anyone at all recommend a brand or style types to look for that would be good for this purpose?

Thanks. :)

I've only figured myself out a week and a half ago and I have an appointment with RR in a couple of weeks time... in the mean time I'm suffering from really severe depression and the only thing that seems to help is letting go a bit...

There's no way I can pass at the moment, I guess if I go down that route (Feeling very likely at the moment) hormones will fix that to a large extent which means waiting a few months for them to kick in, and for my hair to regrow. (I stupidly cut it off a few months ago when I started on my current downward spiral that resulted in my hitting crisis point)

However, I know hormones won't fix voice, phraseology and mannerisms - where do you pick such things up? Are there web sites or books on it or do you just have to ask female friends? (I don't really have any close friends at the moment, certianly no female ones at all so I don't have anyone I can ask)
