I went into Target at Mission Valley yesterday and put in an application and they interviewed me, etc. It went pretty well and all. I forgot to mention the trans part specifically, though they did call me Savannah. ._. It was stressful and stuff.. But I'm sure they thought I was weird *shrugs* It's not the end of the world nor does it really matter. My entire life isn't riding on that one job. I mean.. I don't think I looked bad.. ( http://savannahkestrel.ath.cx/displayimage.php?album=103&pos=2 ) But eh. I have more confidence in applying other places, now, though.
And they did treat me with respect and such, they were really nice.
While I think I did pretty well.. I still need some pointers on how to handle it =\ Since.. as we were leaving the mall, Lei (my boyfriend) pointed out that I should have been much more forward about it and let them know immediately. As it was never brought up and I never offered it.. =x Feh.
I was far too nervous to really think tactfully o.x;
