Obtaining a Long-Form Birth Certificate

Last night in support group, I learned that to get a legal name change in Worcester Probate Court, you need the "long form" of your birth certificate.

I don't believe I have the "long form." My parents had the "long form," but it was torn and beat up, hence I got a replacement copy to apply for my "public trust" clearance for my job (they wanted proof of citizenship, and at the time I did not have a passport). The replacement copy had a raised seal, my name, date of birth, apparent gender, and parents' names. I was surprised, having seen what I now know to be the "long form," that there was so little information on it. At any rate, it was sufficient to get a government security clearance (before 9/11), as well as a passport.

Even if I don't decide to transition, this "long form" might be good to have. Does anyone know the process by which I'd get a copy (I was born in New York City)? I suppose the same way I got the replacement, except to specify the long form...

I went for a walk downtown once again but with my annoyingly straight closeminded brother. As we walked a TransGirl walked by. I was oogling and drooling. She was hot! So i stupidly said out loud.


"Totally bang her..."

Brother looked at me and said.

"You fucking freak, you'd band a dude in a dress."

"No...I'd bang a girl in a dress." I was attempting to point out that I saw a female. But instead I out myself.

"So you'd fuck a firl, now that means ur gay?"

"What? Am not!"

" yea you are, carpet muncher."


ACK! I hate him!!!
Well good thing I said nothing about if i had a dick I'd bang his girlfriend too lol.
