The movie I posted from YouTube was on a different server. A link to another website with seemingly copyrighted material is okay for personal viewing, especially in such a horrible format. It's not pirating when somebody posts a link to another website, and since it's not being used for more than 24-48 hours, there's nothing the "feds" can do about it. All copyrighted material is in fact, legal, to own on your personal computer as long as you have it gone from your system within the above stated hours.

But you can do whatever you want with your own group. I just thought some people would enjoy it... I took the time to write this so as to not seem like a "bad guy."

So, I apologize, not in a particularly snarky or belligerent way, but honestly.

Sorry if I upset anyone. I really do enjoy this group, and I check for new posts almost every day. :D

Sussex, England-- local resources?

I'm going to be at U of Sussex (in England) for a month this summer. Anyone know of local trans groups there or nearby? I know there's trans-friendly clubs in London but I'm not into clubbing or bars. Thanks!

I really hate having to do this but I am reaching out to the TS/TG/GLBT communities for help. Paula and I are engaged to be married. Paula is moving here so that we can be together and as a result she quit her job and gave her notice to her roommates. They have since filled the room. This was a good plan as I had health insurance and a $40K year job so it was the best plan for us until we went to British Columbia to get married. This was the day that put both Paula and myself in dire need for support from our community. I was fired from my job. The old owner who screwed hundreds of customers out of refunds for service that was cancelled called my office and announced that he was buying the company back and that F-this and F-that, etc and so on pretty much threatened me as he had for 11 years. He belittled, harassed me, insulted me, and treated me like dirt on the bottom of his shoes. He mad a point to tell all of his friends and a number of customers that I was "going to chop his dick off". The end result was that I started to cry and his father, who so happens to be operations manager called his son, told him and I was then asked for my keys back and to pack my stuff. I was fired and they plan to fight my unemployment benefits to which I paid into for 11 years. They claim that I "quit" which is the standard operating procedure for that employer. Mind you the current owner is very upset about this because he is without an engineer until the sale goes through. He has no choice but to sell because the original owner made the company look like it was worth more than it was and the truth is that it was a sinking ship. A condition of the sale (found out second-hand) was that my job was terminated.

This leads us to this situation. We need every bit of financial help that you can muster up. $1, $10, whatever you have, we would be extremely grateful. This money is going to be used to move and help keep us afloat until we can get to Seattle. The present goal is to get out of here ASAP. I get my last pay check on 4/7/2005. After that I have no income. Unemployment benefits take up to 4 weeks or longer to get here. That time would only be wasted on unneeded living expenses. So the idea is to pack and move by the 3rd week of the month. Please consider our situation and donate if you can. We will be forever grateful.

Hello everyone. My name is Natalie. I'm a m2f from the Boston area. I just joined today, and I'd like to introduce myself. I haven't come out to many people, just a few friends of mine, who have all been fine with my girl side.
