Dear Transgender Pagans,

I am editing a book on Transgender Paganism: Magic in Transition. I am looking for pagans who continued with their chosen path during and after transition and how it did or didn't change. I see this book as a series of articles, in your own words; the good and the bad.

As the editor of The New Goddess: Transgender Women in the Twenty-First Century, and a witch, I believe that I can present our story in a respectful and accurate manner for other Transgender pagans who have yet to begin the journey.

If you are interested in participating in this project, please contact me at gteague@clemson.edu.

Thank you,
Gypsey

Do I need to re-submit a DL-328? I already turned one in... Or do I just need a picture? AUUGH

So. The story is:

I go to Doc, get 328. Go to DMV, turn it in. Process goes through. I get a big F and "Savannah Kestrel" on my ID. All is good. Go to SSA to change name. Fail. Cannot change name with SSA. Go back to DMV. Tell them. "cancel" current app. Put application through as "Matt Heide". Come back 30 days later. Problem. I have two ID numbers. One for Sav one for Matt. They cancel one. I wait. I get letter from DMV saying my SS number is wrong. I fix. I send it in. Wait 30 days. I get new letter (One above). I'M SO CONFUSED

I need my ID so bad so I can get this job and live in a dorm before I wear out my welcome with my friend and wind up homeless... ._.;;

I purchased a corset some months back from Xcentricities Corsets by Ynhared and received it recently. Well, [livejournal.com profile] bigsqueezer let me know that the modesty panel that he made for it was done and asked if I would model it for the Fannish Fetish Fashion Show at Norwescon 29 for a grand unvieling.

I said to him, "Um. Er. Sure, I can do this. Now give me a few moments to have a breakdown and then compose myself." Well, maybe not those exact words, but the breakdown and recompsure both figured prominently in the response.

My biggest concern about doing this, and it may seem silly, is my hair. Styling this thin, baby fine hair has always been something that has given me no end of trouble.

So, what I'm looking for now is if anyone has any tips or styles or suggestions on what do with my hair.

Thanks!
