Today is my one year (well technically yesterday) on T. I just made up a simple webpage for now to document it. Just two pictures and two voice clips. Have a look.

i swear i've read something similar to this but can't find anything in tags or memories.

i'm applying for an expedited passport (never had one) so i can travel for business either late may/early june.

my DL says M but birth certificate and SSN still say F. i've had top surgery - i plan on calling the surgeon and getting the usual 'irreversible sex reassignment' letter, i'm assuming it needs to be notarized (i'll error on the side of caution and pay the extra money).

i'm anticipating flags going off for the differences in gender markers. i can't find anything on the us department of state site relating to any specific requirements for getting my application processed 'properly' despite the differences in gender markers.

any recent experience, links, advice?

thanks

X-posted to [livejournal.com profile] mtf for the sake of efficiency.

Hi, I'm Felix. I've been on LJ for quite a while, but have only recently cemented my identity as mtf transgendered individual.

Lots of TMI and a couple pics behind the cut... )

So now that  have introduced myself properly, I expect to quit lurking and comment when the mood strikes me, and generally become one of the furniture here -- preferably a chaise lounge, but I'll take what I can get as long as it's not an ottoman.
