The other day I was speaking to a friend of mine about my desire to transition.
He reminded me that he has been on testosterone injections for over 30 years of his life.
He takes them, not to go FtM but to simply maintain appearances as a male(genetic).
He always looked very femme to me (in the early days of our friendship it was , well, he's my friend and I don't care how he looks, now it tends towards*ENVY*. What's interesting is, he want to talk about the process and about gender dysphoria. This is the first time anyone has wanted to discuss it in a clinical fashion with me. I am going to be very careful, as I don't want to spook or hurt him. But, I have to say, I'd love to be able to ask him how he feels about himself.
He has a number of the health problems usually associated with long term use of male hormones.
Makes me wonder if nature's mistake in his case was giving him male genitalia and he has been enforcing the mistake through medication all these years.

So i've recently relized hwo important it is to go through the RLT. Previously i've been rather laquidasical in my thoughts about it, and while i still dont knwo WHEN i will, i know that i have to! How else can i see really, and understand? I mean life's gotta be a bit different when the way your treated socially changes. When people percieve you as being a woman it's gotta be complelty different then when they see you as a man (and queer to boot!). So i look forward to it, when i'm ready for it =0) just thougth i'd share!
