Hi, this is my first post to this group, so I just want to say "hi" before going into my situation. So hi!

I am a bio male that feels overwhelmingly female, but I have decided not to transition, because I am just too used to being a male in society, I suppose. Or maybe it's just the fear that I won't be accepted as a female anywhere.

Anyway, that's just a little background on me. My main reason for posting this right now is that I am planning a trip to Disney with my fiance to take place somethime in the next few months (I live in Orlando, so transportation isn't an issue). The thing is, I want to go as a female. I'm normally pretty hairy, so I plan to shave all my body hair for that day, and wear some nice girls' clothes that will be comfy to walk around in all day.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on any "dos and don'ts" or ways to make myself more presentable as a female on my little outing (oooh, an unintended pun, I assure you.) I'm not so worried about whether I pass or not, since I'll be in such an "anonymous" venue, but I just want to know if anyone has any general advice that might make the day more enjoyable. Like what kinds of things to wear, for example, or how I am to handle the bathroom situation. This will be my first time EVER going out in public as a woman. Also, if anyone has any other similar experience to share, I would love to hear them. Thanks!

hello.
tranny here. i'm currently applying for jobs in new york city.

should i tell them i'm trans?
while the prospect of money is attractive, the prospect of getting "she-d" day in day out is less attractive than is money.
i have told some so far and have recieved an eerie silence on their end.
how have people handled this in the past?

much love,
adrian.

Hiya everyone. I was wondering if anyone on here happened to know the name of any good place to purchase wigs in the Greater Toronto Area. Preferably ones that are trans friendly. Anyways thanks. :)

Becca and I attended a wedding this weekend. Big family do, very religious, lots of waffle.

I sort of mumbled my way through the ceremony and Becca whispered "I'm going to have a rant after this if over." to me about half way through.

I thought she was going to rant at me for being so half hearted but it turned out she wanted to rant at the wedding itself, how boring and drawn out and full of religious rubbish it was.

I knew I picked a good one :)

Anyway, this isn't about that. This is about this:

I think I'll crosspost this one to [livejournal.com profile] transgender too, and [livejournal.com profile] tguk!
