As the title says, do read the whole entry before commenting - It's an idea for a trojan horse. That concept should become obvious by the end :P

--------------

In recent years, there has been a movement settled in the abandonment of political correctness; a movement founded firmly on the notion of God. People of faith - fighting political correctness and allowing the message of God to stand for itself, as a message, untwisted by the words of those who would pervert it.

Such perversions are everywhere in society. There is a true and abiding moral decay as the messages God left us are being drowned out. Eaten away. Little by Little. One breadcrumb at a time.

It's difficult to follow the trail now because the crows have been feasting, but if you look close you will find a few remaining crumbs and the path can still be seen. We can, once again, steer back to the powerful messages left to us.

It is not too late. The chance is not lost, for those of meaningful faith to stand forward. To say "Away with these perversions! Away with these hate filled zealots. Away with these despoilers of faith!"

And to replace the message that God = Hate with the truth:

God is Love

Only humans: with human failings; human weaknesses and human misgivings - only humans could forsake their humanity, turning a message of "Love and Respect" to one of "Hatred and Intolerance"

This is my issue with those elements of the far-christian right, who, with an arrogance all too human - dare to presume that they know the mind of God best.

I'm Kate; I'm transgendered; agnostic and I certainly don't presume to know the mind of God.

However, from all I have read I know this: there are 'christians' who would do well to ask themselves "Are they truly following the teachings of their saviour?"

These 'christians' are the real moral decay of our modern society. Truly Ironic - no?

Hello.

As [livejournal.com profile] jennyemily wrote in an earlier post, T-Vox was hacked. As it turns out, it was simple script kiddie action but it's taken a while to correct because I wasn't able to get to a terminal to fix it, what with having left for work shortly before the hack occurred. I think I've worked out how the kiddies got in and I've upgraded the security just in case they try again.

Suffice to say we're back up and running now without any loss of data.
