Side Effects of Estradiol?

Hello everyone. I'm new to livejournal and haven't posted before. But I love reading all the posts on here. And all of you seem so very nice! I'm a 35yo, MtF who just started hormones. Like two days ago. :) My doctor started me on 2mg estradiol (sublingual) and 50mg spironolactone. The weird thing is that the first day taking them, I noticed a bump in my lower lip that evening. And it's been there since. It's a definite bump and it's red, but it's not painful and the skin isn't broken. And it hasn't gotten any bigger. I'm thinking it's some kind of gland, but I'm not sure. Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience.

Voice issues

I'm an MtF, live on the north side of Chicago and am looking for a voice coach, I've done stuff with a recorder and an audio program on my computer but I'm just not getting it, my "normal" speaking voice is DEEP, like between 60 and 90hz so in other words I sound like James Earl Jones (Darth Vader) =(. Anyone know of any voice coaches/therapists in and or around the north side of Chicago?
