So, I'm thinking of moving to Glasgow. In fact I'd say it's transcended from thinking of to "it's going to happen I just don't know when".

But this pushes another more important topic into the agenda:

All Becca's family is in Glasgow and I'm not moving there until we've somehow informed them that I'm not the man they think I am - if you catch my drift. Basically my move to Glasgow would be part of moving away from my parents to remove the "You're not leaving the house dressed like that" phase. I'm not about to step out of one closet into another.

I'm not sure if I could directly confront them, every time I suggest it on the way to meet a family member it's met with "Not this time", mainly based around the fact that we only meet them on special occasions and if it goes badly it might spoil Christmas, Easter, a wedding, someone's birthday, etc.

Basically we've decided to do this in the form of a letter, a good generic one to send to her mum dad, siblings and possibly close uncles.

I have no idea how to even start a letter about this, given that Becca's parents until now have known me by my male name, haven't the slightest inkling otherwise and think Becca is 100% straight.

I know ultimately I have to write it myself but any advice anyone has would be very welcome.

I did this, I suck, I know. Sorry it's blurry, I have difficulty sitting still for any length of 2 seconds. It says "not always black and white".

does anybody have a link to where I could get ahold of a copy of a girl like me: the Gwen Araujo story? I've been looking all over the place. I can't find a DVD, a bit torrent, or anything for that matter. did anyone record it and is willing to send it to me or anything?
