I am no genius.

I often claim to be, but when it gets down to it, without a computer I'd be as defenceless as a child.

Folk have been saying that I should write a book about the future of gender and it's grip of society. I want to write it, and lets face it if I wait for my life to have some kind of order before I start, it's never going to get written. I was thinking about the kind of order I'd like it to run in and how it'll flow and I realised that in my little "8 news articles" post I referred to a little bit of made up research which I would actually like to refer back to. however, in order to refer back to it, I need it to be real research, not fake research.

Have you seen the multitude of posts where researchers and psychologists drop into Transgender and ask for stories from us to help them in gender studies classes or to back up some paper they're writing. I've never responded to those, but I'm assuming some people have, or they wouldn't keep asking.

If you've responded to one of them, and are still in contact, perhaps you could forward a little request from me? I've devised a couple of very simple tests which would only really work in the context of a psychology or sociology student. I am no longer a student, and as such don't have access to the kind of campus environment where walking up to strangers and asking them ot take a 10 minute memory test in the name of science would actually work.

Would anyone out there be willing to help me?

Something about being careful what you wish for I guess.
I need to rethink where I put my patch.
When I started this journey, I had no ass, and could just about slap it anywhere on my posterior.
Today I noticed it was folding in the middle (in much the same way it did when I tried putting it on my tummy).
Not only that, the stair I used to sit on when I made phonecalls, well guess whose butt is too well-padded to fit on the shelf. Nope, it's not THAT bad, the steps are smallish, and the ONLY reason they worked as seats before was I had no rump period. But still.... Yeah woman-form!

The first ever URNotAlone TParty was held last night at Score Bar in Columbus Ohio. We had a wonderful turnout with 45 people at one point in the evening! We had almost every group represented. Transvestites, cross-dressers, a couple of female to male bois, and even a couple of supportive wives!

It was really a wonderful opportunity to meet some long time members as well as network with some other Transgender groups that are in the area.

Thank you to everone who made it out and made our first ever event a wonderful night for everyone. After the TParty, a number of us headed over to Outland for Karaoke. It's a wonderful thing to make new friends! We hope that this is the start of something big! :)

We had a FREE raffle, and ten URNA T-Shirts were raffled off and there was one lucky winner of a ModelTs Full Access Pass. The Winnder was Ms Sonja Dawson who attended with her lovely partner, a gorgeous and supportive GG!

For those of you that didn't make it out, we hope to see you next week. Remember, we want input from everyone about how to make this event better. In response to a number of requests last night, we are planning to try to hold the event earlier in the evening!

If anyone has been following the Riches with Eddie Izzard on FX. It is on again tonight at 10:00pm. The youngest kid is genderqueer. The show is pretty sweet if you care to check it out.
